Founded in 1993 as a family business, RADOX has grown into Romania's foremost manufacturer of designer and towel radiators. RADOX begins its journey under the name CALOREX, founded by engineer Cornel Roșu — a family venture built on a clear vision: bring quality heating products to Romania. Three employees, one shared ambition.
Romania's first towel radiator factory opens at RADOX headquarters in Bucharest — a defining moment for domestic manufacturing. The groundwork is laid for a brand that will export across Europe.
The first steel towel radiator production line enters operation, with output exclusively destined for the Italian market — an early testament to the European-grade quality RADOX demands of every product it produces.
The RADOX brand is officially registered as a trademark — marking the beginning of a recognised identity synonymous with premium radiator manufacturing in Romania and across the continent.
RADOX commissions the most advanced chrome plating station in Central and Eastern Europe — fully automated and environmentally certified. A second production facility opens in Câmpulung Muscel. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality certifications are awarded.
World premiere: RADOX launches the FLEXI collection — designer radiators with flexible, heated arms. A genuine innovation in both form and function, introduced to international audiences at leading trade fairs.
Celebrating 25 years of excellence. RADOX radiators are now present in 35 countries across all five continents, confirming the brand's status as a global benchmark in designer and towel radiator manufacturing.
Our chrome plating station — the most advanced in Central and Eastern Europe — is fully automated and environmentally certified. Radiators are hermetically sealed during processing, preventing acid penetration and rust formation. Steel models are welded for superior joint strength, while painted finishes undergo sandblasting and phosphating for optimal adhesion and durability.
